The Story of BiertonFest

BiertonFest was created with one simple idea... to bring our village together for a fantastic day of live music, food, drink and community spirit.

Inspired by the success of recent local events and the amazing sense of togetherness within Bierton, the vision is to establish a flagship annual festival that people of all ages can enjoy year after year.

More than just a festival, BiertonFest is about celebrating everything that makes our village special! Friendship, community and creating memories together in the heart of Bierton.

The Team Behind BiertonFest

BiertonFest has been organised by locals who love living in the village, care deeply about our community and want to create something special that brings residents, families and friends together for an unforgettable day in Bierton.

Sheila Cotton

Sheila loves that we have the best of both worlds, countryside living with Aylesbury just around the corner for theatres and cinema. She’s helped organise BiertonFest because she believes in events that bring the whole community together.

Her favourite song (outside of musical theatre) is How Deep Is Your Love by the Bee Gees.

Mark Grieves

His favourite song is Traffic by Stereophonics.

Andrew Donaldson

Andrew is passionate about caring for our countryside and animals. He’s looking forward to seeing plenty of smiles at BiertonFest and making sure the village has a fantastic day.

Julie loves our strong sense of community and the countryside. She enjoys seeing people come together over music, food and entertainment, and wanted to help bring that experience to Bierton.

Ken loves the friendly community and stunning Buckinghamshire countryside. He’s excited that BiertonFest will create a special day of live music, great food and shared memories that celebrate everything that makes Bierton such a great place to live.

Built by Volunteers. Powered by Community.

BiertonFest is only possible thanks to the incredible support behind the scenes from local organisations, volunteers and the wider community.

We’re hugely grateful for the support and funding secured through Bierton Parish Council, helping turn the vision of BiertonFest into a reality and ensuring the event remains affordable and accessible for the whole community.

East Bucks Community Board

A huge thank you to the East Bucks Community Board for playing a vital role in helping us deliver a high-quality BiertonFest, with fantastic entertainment, activities and facilities for everyone in the community to enjoy.

Our Volunteers

BiertonFest is powered by volunteers. From planning and organising behind the scenes to helping on the day itself, local people are giving their time to create something special for the village and bring the community together.

Bierton Pop-Up-Pub

The Bierton Pop-Up-Pub is a not-for-profit community event run entirely by volunteers, with any surplus reinvested back into future village events. Its success and community spirit have helped support and inspire BiertonFest.
